I could write this post purely

From a numbers perspective, but I think we’ve gone over it so often that today I thought I’d take a new perspective on the topic.

I get asked a lot about how to actually make money with a blog and blogging.

And the answer is that blogging does not make money. The goal of the blog is to gather an audience around the blog, i.e. a committed readership that reads (almost) every post, shares posts enthusiastically on social media and listens carefully to what you have to say.

They are your “fans”, your community and your gang. And they will buy what you recommend because they trust that you have their best interests in mind.

This way you can make the blog financially profitable

Before you can make any money from your blog, you need to new database build a strong relationship of trust. The more the reader trusts you, the more likely they are to buy what you recommend. A purchase transaction is therefore always a matter of trust.

Building trust comes as a surprise to many bloggers. Especially if you have previously imagined that just writing and publishing is enough. Let’s think a little about the influencers. Those bloggers who are already popular. They have a strong personal brand. It has been built systematically and long-term.

to be financially viable? Well, since I love numbers, I had to take some figures for this. Everyone has to decide for themselves how much income they want from blogging. But it must be understood that the mere goal of “2000 € / month” is not enough. money will come from. You have to calculate how much money you can get. You have to look at the statistics and make changes based on them. And you have to make sure that the income stream is continuous. Example I myself have one post on this blog, which has brought me a total of €6,449.10 (gross) income since the beginning of the year. Since I am a self-employed person, I pay the VAT and the maintenance cost of the program on that amount, leaving me €5,199.91 net.
